HANDS-FREE SPEECH READOUT

Enable speech readout to hear the current tally after an adjustment. This uses your browser’s speech support; availability and voice quality depend on your device. Keep the total visible when an accurate record matters.

BATCH INCREMENT SHORTCUTS

Mechanical four-digit metal clickers require repetitive single button presses. Our digital instrument allows one-tap batch adjustments (+5, +10, +25, +50, +100) and instant reset with zero gear wear.

How to use the tally counter

Tap +1 on the right to add one, or −1 on the left to correct a count. Use the batch buttons when counting groups. Space, Enter, and the up arrow add one while the page is focused; the down arrow subtracts one. Shortcuts pause while typing notes or using a focused control.

Attendance and inventory examples

For attendance, add one as each guest arrives. For occupancy, subtract one when someone leaves; start a new tally for each entrance or use the multi-counter board. For inventory, count full groups with a batch button and add the remaining individual items with +1. Negative totals are allowed so corrections can be recorded.

Will my count be saved?

Your tally and notes are saved in this browser when local storage is available. They do not sync to other devices. Clearing site data can erase them, so copy important totals before ending a session. The session log counts adjustments made during this page visit; it is not a permanent audit trail.

Sound and voice readout

The counter plays a milestone chime when a positive adjustment lands on a multiple of ten. Voice readout uses your browser’s speech support and may be unavailable on some devices. Keep your device volume comfortable and take breaks during repetitive counting.
